Refund & Cancellation Policy

Introduction

Creative services, digital products, customized work, and physical production each work differently.

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds are generally handled.

Any project-specific written agreement may provide additional or different terms.

Custom creative services

Because custom work reserves creative time and is developed specifically for the client, payments for work already performed are generally non-refundable.

If a project is cancelled before completion, Quiet Aletheia will determine what portion of the project has already been completed and what amounts are owed under the applicable project agreement.

Any refundable amount, if applicable, will be communicated to the client.

Deposits

When a project requires a deposit, the deposit reserves project time and allows work to begin.

Deposit refundability will be stated in the applicable proposal, invoice, or project agreement.

Once substantial custom work has begun, payments attributable to completed work are generally non-refundable.

Digital products

Because digital products can be accessed, copied, or downloaded immediately, digital product purchases are generally final once access or download has been provided.

If you experience a technical problem accessing a purchased file, contact Quiet Aletheia so we can help resolve the issue.

If you receive the wrong file or a file is materially defective, contact us so the issue can be corrected.

Customized digital products

Once customization work has begun, customized digital products are generally not refundable for change-of-mind cancellations.

If Quiet Aletheia cannot complete the purchased customization, an appropriate refund or other resolution will be provided.

Printing and physical production

Printing and production orders are not placed until the client approves the applicable design and production cost and payment has been received.

Before approval, please carefully review:

• Artwork
• Spelling
• Contact information
• Quantity
• Size
• Material or paper
• Finish
• Shipping information
• Other production specifications

Cancelling before production

If a client cancels before a physical production order has been submitted to the production provider, amounts paid specifically for unplaced production may be refundable.

Design work already completed remains subject to the custom creative-services terms.

After production has been ordered

Once a custom print or production order has entered production, cancellation or changes may not be possible.

Refund eligibility for a production problem will depend on the circumstances and the applicable rights available for the order.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect orders

If a managed print order arrives damaged, materially defective, or materially different from the approved order, contact Quiet Aletheia promptly.

Please retain the product and packaging and provide photographs when requested.

We will work with the production provider to seek an appropriate correction, replacement, or refund when available.

Color and production variations

Screens and physical printing reproduce color differently.

Reasonable variations in color, trimming, paper, material, texture, placement, and other manufacturing characteristics are not necessarily defects.

Quiet Aletheia prepares files carefully but cannot guarantee exact screen-to-print color matching across all devices and production methods.

Shipping delays

Production and shipping estimates are estimates unless specifically guaranteed.

If an order is delayed, Quiet Aletheia will communicate available information and follow applicable requirements regarding delayed merchandise orders.

If an order cannot be fulfilled as promised, applicable cancellation and refund rights will be honored.

Ready-made physical products

When Quiet Aletheia begins offering ready-made physical products, the applicable product listing will state any return or exchange conditions before purchase.

Product-specific terms may differ for customized or made-to-order items.

Sale items

Any different refund or return conditions applicable to sale or clearance products will be disclosed with the offer.
